Sumisho Marine is a company engaged in ship-related businesses, established in 1996 by Sumitomo Corporation.
Guided by our four fundamental principles of action— (1)Compliance & Safety, (2)Respect & Communication (respecting diverse values and proactively engaging in communication and collaboration), (3)Open Mind & Innovation (seizing opportunities in times of change and pursuing initiatives beyond conventional frameworks), and (4)Full Passion & Ownership (driving our work with passion and a strong sense of personal responsibility)— we provide services across the entire value chain of the maritime and shipping industry.
Today, the ship-related industry is also expected to address and contribute to a wide range of challenges in order to protect the planet and the richness of the oceans, and to enhance the well-being of societies and people around the world.
We are committed to facing these challenges and contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through our ship-related businesses.
Historically, Sumitomo’s predecessors placed great importance not only on their own profit but also on protecting the sustainability of the natural environment and local communities, making numerous decisions based on this philosophy.
Inheriting this business spirit from our predecessors, we seek to pursue business practices that contribute to the public good.
